Who I am

I am a can-do, do-all generalist.

I am an engineer turned data-driven leader and professional "Swiss Army Knife".

I have been a "wearer of all the hats" at several SaaS startups in the strategy and commercial real estate spaces, leading numerous transformative projects across Data, Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, GTM, and Customer Success.

I thrive in roles with broad mandates, where I have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple teams.

If you're looking for a cross-functional veteran to champion key projects, I'm your guy.

Who I am

I am a "can-do", do-all generalist.

I started my career in mechanical engineering before transitioning over into the Data world. In my last two roles, I was a "wearer of all the hats" at SaaS startups in the strategy and commercial real estate spaces. I have:

  • Consulted with strategic leaders at Fortune 500 companies

  • Led teams of engineers in product development

  • Developed product training curriculum and recorded instructional videos

  • Drove traffic to our product with LinkedIn posts and marketing

  • Spent eyeball-watering days heads-down, manually enriching thousands of rows of incomplete people data

  • Interviewed+hired+managed a team of talented interns

My roles have consistently spanned Data, Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, GTM, and Customer Success. That diverse perspective leads to solutions that benefit multiple teams.

I thrive in a role with a broad mandate where I can work cross-functionally and deliver results that positively impact multiple teams.

My guiding tenets

Confidence with humility

Honesty with empathy

Ownership with efficient delegation

Analytical thinking with cross functional mastery

Process with adaptability

Curiosity with a bias for action

Over the course of my studies, military service, and professional career at both startups and massive corporations, I've learned to prioritize the following things:

Now, I'm far from perfect. I'm no business guru with all the answers. I just do my best to lead teams with those six things in mind.

Where I

come from

I grew up in small-town Wisconsin and was taught several things:

  • Work hard

  • Be kind

  • Stay humble

  • Enjoy the cheese curds

The success that I've seen is a result of hard work, a dash of luck, and the support of my peers, coworkers, and family. To them: thank you!
